These are the error codes the KOMOTO M1100.
Error Code | What Code Means | How to fix/repair Issue |
---|---|---|
A | Communication failure between display/brain and controller | Check whether the communication line connection is damaged. If damaged replace the communication line. test; You can also directly connect the display/brain to the controller to test to see if damaged communication line. |
B | Issue with throttle or bad throttle | Replace throttle with new one. |
C or C0 | Motor issues or failure | Check the integrity of the wiring of the motor 3 phase wires (Blue, Yellow, Green). Check hall sensor communication line. If there is no abnormality aka wires melted or damaged. Then replace the motor. |
E or E0 | Under voltage of the display/brain. It has power on the display and will flicker with alarm noise. | Check battery voltage to see if below the 48v or lower. If battery is fine then controller will need to be replaced. |
F or F0 | Over Current | 1. The MOSFET transistor inside the controller is broken/failed. This causes short circuit and which will still exist after turn off. Need to replace controller. 2. In the process of high-speed riding, when suddenly passing through a pothole or going faster than designed down hill. The motor is subject to strong resistance and generates a large reverse current. This will disappear after turning off. If not then controller will need to be replaced. |
