This is a list of all the error codes for the KOMOTO D2400.
Error Code | Sub Error Code | What Code Means | How to Fix/Repair issue |
---|---|---|---|
A | FA | Front motor communication issue/failure | Check front motor wire and see if any damage and check controller 3 phase wires (Yellow, Green, Blue) for heat damage. |
bA | Rear motor communication issue/failure | Check rear motor wire for damage and check controller 3 phase wires (Yellow, Green, Blue) for heat damage. |
b | Bad throttle | Replace throttle |
C | FC | Front motor hall sensor fault | Check motor wires and 3 phase wires at controller for any damage. If no damage then motor will need to be replaced. |
bC | Rear motor hall sensor fault | Check motor wires and 3 phase wires at controller for any damage. If no damage then motor will need to be replaced. |
E | Under voltage alarm | Check battery voltage to make sure battery is not defective. If battery voltage good then replace |
F | FF | Over Current alarm of front drive controller | 1.The MOSFET is damaged/short circuited after shutdown. This requires replacing the controller. 2. In the process of high-speed riding, when suddenly passing through a pothole or going faster than designed down hill. The motor is subject to strong resistance and generates a large reverse current. This will disappear after turning off. If not then controller will need to be replaced. |
bF | Over current alarm of rear drive controller | 1.The MOSFET is damaged/short circuited after shutdown. This requires replacing the controller. 2. In the process of high-speed riding, when suddenly passing through a pothole or going faster than designed down hill. The motor is subject to strong resistance and generates a large reverse current. This will disappear after turning off. If not then controller will need to be replaced. | |
dF | Over current alarm of Dual drive controller | Read Above. |
H | Brake handle Failure | Check brake handle wires and inspect switch for any damage. If no damage then replace brake handle. |
d | Fd | Front motor stall alarm | Push motor and should self recover to fix the issue. If not, then turn unit off then back on. |
bd | Rear motor stall alarm | Push motor and should self recover to fix the issue. If not, then turn unit off then back on. | |
dd | Dual motor stall alarm | Read Above |
L | bL | Rear Starting Current is Abnormal | Unplug both controller's power supply/plug from battery. If this does not reset the error code then you need to replace REAR controller. |
FL | Front Starting Current is Abnormal | Unplug both controller's power supply/plug from battery. If this does not reset the error code then you need to replace FRONT controller. |
